St. Andrew Rowing Club

Saint Andrew Rowing Club (SA) is pleased to offer Summer 2024 Rowing Camps! These camps are offered to rising 6th through 12th graders to learn the sport of rowing or experienced rowers interested in improving their skills. We highly recommend that your athletes sign up for more than one week to gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the wonderful world of rowing and learn what crew life is all about. What to expect each week at camp:

• Daily Stretching and Warmups
• Every day is a water day
• SA Rowing Club T-shirt is included
• Working alongside current team members
• Every Friday is race day

Our experienced coaching staff and seasoned athlete volunteers make the SA experience like no other. Campers will learn about the sport through hands-on experience in eight and four-man rowing shells. Campers will also learn rowing safety, boat handling, terminology, and beginner through advanced rowing techniques all while enjoying the beautiful Chattahoochee River. These camps offer the most continuous time on the water of any rowing camp in the Metro Atlanta Area and they are an excellent experience for rowers who may wish to join one of our squads in the fall! 

Intro to Rowing Camp:

Camp Fees: $250 per 1-week session, subject to minimum registrations.

Camps run Monday - Friday 8:30am - 11:00am**

We have camp these weeks in 2024:

• June 3-7
• June 10-14
• June 17-21
• June 24-28
• July 1-5 is a no-camp-week
• July 8-12
• July 15-19

We highly recommend that your athlete signs up for more than one week to gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the wonderful world of rowing and learn what crew life is all about. 

**Campers are expected to arrive on-time. We cannot accept late campers. If we are on boats a mile down the river, we cannot turn around to collect a late camper.
