IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Mandatory Parent Meeting:  We have our Fall Season Parent Meeting tentatively scheduled for the morning of Saturday, Sept 11th and are looking forward to getting everyone back together. This meeting will cover important details for the season and hopefully reintroduce a lot of our families to a regular rowing season. Save the day - we are confirming with the church now and plan to follow our meeting with onsite "Meet the Coaches" and "Parent Learn to Row" (space is limited and signups will go out in advance).

Fall Fundraising:  We will kick off our annual fundraising at the beginning of the season, funds raised will be used for capital investments and new equipment. All families have a required fundraising goal of $250 to remain in good standing. At the end of our Annual Fundraiser, families not meeting the goal will be invoiced the remainder of the balance.

Parent Volunteers:  This year we will return to our standard practice of Parent Volunteers requirements. We will be asking each family to contribute a minimum of 16hrs per season through their work efforts, food donations, or by participating on a committee. As a non-profit, it is essential for us to have parent participation to maintain our pricing structure and avoid paying for costly outside services. We will be creating a SUG for the Season and allowing families to sign up ahead of time on recurring roles and activities. Lastly, we will be adding Tent City and food donations as we get closer to the events. We ask that you not wait until the last minute as every family will be seeking opportunities. Volunteering for a committee is an easy way to get your assignments ahead of time and work on your own schedule. Any family not meeting their minimum commitments will be invoiced $250 for the season.

COVID PROCEDURES

FALL 2021 FALL COVID PROCEDURES are currently under development.  We are constantly monitoring the local trends and evaluating the needed precautions to protect the health of our rowing community. If your child is vaccinated for COVID, please have an image of your card ready to upload during registration. If your child is not vaccinated, we will communicate our new Fall COVID Protocols as we get closer to the season. We will review CDC guideline, USRowing requirements, and all State and local government mandate. Along with considering our organizational objectives, we plan to communicate new COVID guidelines by the start and the season and will continue update guidelines as local conditions/recommendations change.
