St. Andrew Rowing Club

We are so excited to get the Spring 2026 Season underway and continue to build upon the success of last season!

This registration will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure all information is provided accurately. 

Please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information available. This year, we are NOT ACCEPTING CHECKS. 

SportsEngine charges a 3.15% processing fee. To avoid the processing fee, please use the code (SpringZeffy2026) and pay via Zeffy.  

Please DO NOT use discount codes for other registrations, including select regatta registrations. New codes will be sent at that time.

Mandatory Parents Meeting will be held at the beginning of the season from 9:00 - 10:30 am January 10th in the Family Center at St. Andrew Church across from the Boathouse.  One family member per rower must be in attendance. 

Spring Season Competitive Squads (Novice/Varsity) - ($2,250)
These programs are for those interested in improving existing rowing skills as well as rigorous conditioning and training for Fall competition. Eligible athletes are 9th–12th grade, with some exceptions being made for 8th graders. These squads are for both new (no experience necessary for any High School student) and returning SA athletes.

Novice and Varsity squads will begin practice on Monday, January 5th  through May 16th (date subject to change) with TENTATIVE practice schedules as follows:
 

• Varsity Men/Women – Monday through Friday @ 4:30-7:00 pm, Saturday Mornings @ 7:30-10:30 am. Times may change due to daylight savings. 
• Novice Men/Women - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (same times as Varsity).  Wednesday is optional, but strongly encouraged.

• America's Youth Cup - February 14-15
• OARS Invitational - March 7-8
• Shamrock Sprints - March 14
• San Diego Classic - March 27-28 *select crews only*
• Dogwood Regatta - April 25-26
• US Rowing Southeast Regionals (Sarasota, Fl) - May 9-10
• US Rowing Youth Nationals (Sarasota, Fl) - June 11-14 *select crews only*

Travel Expenses: Spring Season Registration Fees include bus travel, hotel, and regatta-related fees with the exception of any select regattas.

* US Youth Nationals costs are not covered by the registration fee*

Foundations - $655
This program is for individuals aged 12 years and older interested in learning to row or improving existing rowing skills with practice on the water 3 days a week.  Our Foundations program will focus on general conditioning and teaching the basics of safety and rowing techniques. The goal of this program is to develop athletes who are interested in joining our competitive squads in the future. Our top priority will be to maximize time on the water for these athletes.

Foundations squads will practice from January 5th through May 16th, with the practice schedule as follows:

• Tuesday and Thursday: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

* Please note that some Saturday Practices may be canceled due to team travel schedules. Parents will be notified in advance, and this has been factored into the price.

Foundations Squad will have the opportunity to participate in a regatta within the season (Not included in the registration fees) as well as participate in a full intrasquad race towards the end of the season.  More details will be forthcoming.

Please take a minute to create a SportsEngine Account. This registration will walk you through the process. You will first be prompted to create your Parent Account.  Please include your valid contact information during the initial registration.  We use SportsEngine for all club communications.
 

After creating your Parent Account, this registration will automatically continue and you will be asked to indicate "Who you are Registering".  Please enter your Child's information and a Child Profile will be created for your account and used by the Coaches to communicate with the rowers.
