Welcome to SARC's Summer Foundations Camp Registration!

This registration session will allow you to sign up for participation, complete contact information, and submit payment for Summer Camp.  Please read through each page carefully to ensure all information is provided accurately.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa or MasterCard information available.

 

Did you enjoy Learn to Row Camp and are looking for more?

 

Saint Andrew Rowing Club (SARC) is pleased to offer Foundations Rowing Camps! Summer Foundations is for any rower in 6th-12th grade who participated in at least one week of Learn to Row camp and is interested in joining our squad this fall. 

 

Rowers will be introduced to a variety of disciplines including sweep rowing, sculling, and coxing.  In addition, rowers will learn more about the parts of the boat, rigging, and caring for equipment.  Weather permitting, athletes will spend time on the water every day. 

 

This program will be coached by members of the competitive coaching staff and current collegiate rowers from schools like Clemson University, The University of Washington, The University of Tennessee, and more.  For questions, please reach out to Coach Erin at coach.erin@standrewrowing.com
 

 

Our experienced coaching staff and seasoned athlete volunteers make the SA experience like no other. Campers will learn about the sport through hands-on experience. They will also learn rowing safety, boat handling, terminology, and beginner through advanced rowing techniques all while enjoying the beautiful Chattahoochee River. These camps offer the most continuous time on the water of any rowing camp in the Metro Atlanta Area and they are an excellent experience for rowers who may wish to join one of our squads in the fall! 

 

Summer Foundations Rowing Camp:

 

For any athlete who has completed at least one week of Learn to Row looking to join our team in the fall.  This program is also open to any athlete who has participated in foundations in the past and wants to join again next year! 

 

Camp Fees: $250 per 2-week session

 

 

Practice Schedule:

Camps meet three (3) times a week: Monday and Wednesday 4-6 pm and Saturday 9-11 am.

 

Camp Weeks:

 

  • June 9-21 (2 weeks) 
  • June 23 - July 1-5 ( 2 weeks) - No practice on July 4th.
  • July 7-12 (1 week)
  • July 14-26 (2 weeks)

**Campers are expected to arrive on time. We cannot accept late campers. If we are on boats a mile down the river, we cannot turn around to collect a late camper.
